Cynthia Lujan – Vice-Moderator
I have been with our church since May 2007. I’ve seen a lot of great things this church has done. I enjoy being a part of such a wonderful church family. I am the VP of the Women’s Association and the Secretary for the Joy Fellowship. I have a cute pug named Penelope, that takes up a lot of my time. I also enjoy needlecraft and listening to the Lord’s word.
Mike Mendez – Trustee Vice Chairman
I have been married to by beautiful wife Melissa for over 8 years. I’ve spent the last 18 years on an amazing adventure with her. I’m very blessed to be the father of our daughter, Kora. I am an electrician by trade, but have been working as a Solar Plant Operator for several years. I came to this wonderful church approximately a year ago, and it just felt “right”. I am involved with the Men’s Group on Saturdays, and truly enjoy it. I enjoy spending time with my family, my “God Country” and guns.
Kyle Gorder – Financial Director
I have been with the church for approximately 2 ½ years I attend the Men’s Group and enjoy my time with the church. On my free time, I enjoy going on long hikes.
Cindy Bergstrom – Church Secretary
I am the newest employee of this wonderful church. Since I have been here, everyone has been so welcoming, helpful and always eager to assist me, and they always have smile on their face. I feel so blessed that they have made me feel so welcome. I am married to my high school Sweetheart, Steve, and have a beautiful daughter, Jennifer, and son-in-law, Mark. I have also been blessed with a grandson, Chase. I enjoy spending time with my three babies (dogs), travelling, camping, and working puzzles.
Roger Mullis-Trustee Chairman
I have been a member of the Community Church of Henderson since 2009. I am married to Tina Mullis for 31 years. I am a plumber by trade. I currently serve on the Board of Trustees to help with property and building issues and participate in some mission trips. I am also involved with metal recycling to generate funds for various church functions. I believe God who is always there for us and that we just need to learn to listen to him and accept the guidance he provides, by going to him in prayer, reading scripture and using these things to make decisions with Gods principals in focus. I currently attend Sunday services, Saturday’s Men’s group bible study, and Wednesday night prayer meetings.
Tina Mullis – Moderator
I was born in Henderson Nevada, but now live in Boulder City. I am married to my wonderful husband, Roger and have been for 31 years. I have been attending this church since 2009. I am the Church Treasurer. I pay the bills and track expenses for the church. We love this church community. It has expanded our knowledge of God’s word and has helped us improve our relationship with Jesus Christ. I am so blessed to know that Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, and to continue my journey with a wonderful church family.
Cindy Lindhout- Church Clerk
I’ve been a member of this wonderful church since 1996. I feel like I have an extended family with the church. I have a wonderful daughter, Mollie, and three beautiful step-daughters, Wendy, Natalie, and Amber. I enjoy reading, taking walks and spending time with my family and friends. My favorite activity is watching NASCAR racing. My favorite driver is #9 - Chase Elliott
Bonnie Durfee - Member at Large and Usher
I have been with this wonderful church approximately 6 years. As soon as I walked into the church, I felt like I was at home. I love helping people, and I have many beautiful friends here I have two wonderful sons, Rod & Ken, who are the light of my eye. I enjoy crocheting, and my real passion is music. I am involved with the Southern Nevada Bluegrass Association, and the Nevada Old Time Fiddlers Association.
Nathan Taylor – Pianist
I am the pianist at our church. I have been playing piano since the age of five. Starting this fall, I will be a freshman in high school. I feel very blessed to have this opportunity to play for the amazing family that is at this church.
Colbie Larson - IT Admin/Webmaster
I have been here for about 2 years with the church and I love it! Everyone is warm hearted and welcoming. I haul tanks in the U.S. Army Reserves as an 88M. I have a passion for IT and fitness. I also love to wash my car, boating, fishing, and clay pigeon shooting.
